What Is Solid Plastering?

Solid plastering refers to the traditional application of plaster directly onto masonry, brick, or solid backgrounds — built up in coats by hand to create a strong, flat, durable surface. Unlike plasterboard/gyprock systems, solid plaster bonds directly to the structure, giving a denser, more substantial finish that’s well suited to period homes, heritage work, and high-end renovations where a premium, solid feel matters.

Where Solid Plastering Is Used
